Get ready to buckle up, Halifax! The New Brunswick Comedy Showcase is crashing into town, and itโs bringing the explosive energy of Johnny Skov! Known for his wild, wooly, and wacky antics, Johnny hails from the infamous Kennebecasis Valley. With nine years of stand-up under his belt, he's opened for comedic legends like Tom Green and Kenny vs Spenny, leaving audiences from Austin, TX to BC howling for more. Catch Johnny as he unleashes a comedy hurricane that's as unpredictable as it is uproarious!
But Skov's not storming Halifax alone! Joining him is the refreshingly relatable Danielle Anderson, whoโs made Moncton her comedy headquarters after a suspiciously long stay in โOnterrible.โ A finalist at the 2024 HubCap Comedy Festival Competition, her material is the kind of therapy you didnโt know you needed until youโre laughing so hard, you might need actual therapy. Also on deck, Eric Chiasson is back from a 15-year break, delivering his bilingual wit to New Brunswick and beyond, while the ever-youthful Taylor Lakeport brings her cat-loving, cake-baking, Barbie-collecting charm to the stage.
Hosting this comedy tornado is Matt White, Monctonโs own comedic gem and the 2022 Hubcap Comedy Festival Amateur Stand Up Contest winner. With a knack for finding humor in the mundane, Mattโs the perfect guide through this evening of stand-up chaos. Whether he's opened for Nathan Macintosh or Debra Digiovanni, Matt knows how to keep the energy high and the laughs rolling.
This is one comedy storm you don't want to miss, so grab your tickets early before theyโre gone! ๐๐๏ธ
